About Me

Hey, My name is Scott, a 30 years YOUNG, 5'9"(174cm), weight 155(70kilos) male.  My personality is the most attractive part of me.  I am aggressive yet easy going, and a very confident person with great sense of adventure and high degree of integrity.

Interests

I have several interests.  Traveling is always on top of my list.  Also, I like Classic, Jazz, Musical, and Disney's music.  I collect  airplane models and information about airlines.  My favorite airplane model is Airbus 330 and my favorite car are VW Golf and Jeep Grand Cherokee.  I like swimming and jogging, I don't drink, I like dinning out with friends or reading in Caribou Cafe.   Since I moved to the States, my latest  interest is cooking at home.

Traveling

I love traveling and I do it a lot.  My favorite cities are Sydney,  Boston and Chicago, USA.  I just came back from a Caribbean cruise last Christmas.  Also, I had visited Paris, Vancouver, Banff, Toronto and Niagara Falls in Canada, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Phoenix, St. Louis, Memphis, New Orleans, Portland, New York and Florida in United States.  Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore in Asia.  Grand Cayman in Caribbean and Cozumel, Mexico.

Next Destination

There are two destinations that I will probably visit in April, 2000.  One is Amtrak trip along the Empire Builder route to visit Minneapolis, Montana, and Seattle.  The second is to visit my friend Camden in Hawaii!!

Millennium Resolution

Resolution needs my commitment, so there is only one resolution in year 2000.  I commit to improve and practice English a lot.

Working Attitude

I am highly devoted to my work, sometime it seems too serious.  I like to work with great people and learn from the work and peers.  I am a focused person, always know what I want and where I stand.  I am not afraid to share experience with my peers.   To do what I like to do that is my working philosophy.  Also, I play fair, I never compromise this  point .

Professional Experience

I was a Sr. Sales Specialist of Johnson & Johnson Medical Taiwan for almost 5 years.  I enjoyed the work very much, I learned and grew much from this work.  It gave me the great sense about business and international view, and it really developed my potential.  I was well trained in J&J and I like the company culture.  I am proud of our products, Acuvue and 1-day Acuvue.  That is why I was the winner of President Club Award, 1995, Top Sales of the Year, 1997.  Viewing my resume to know more details of my performance.

Education Background

I am a MBA student in University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) now.  This program helps me to think things deeply and see things widely.  It is a great chance for me to practice to think and to do things in different ways.  Indeed, it is a training for practicing problem solving and decision making.

I learned a lot from Marketing Management and Channels Management; I understand how to segment the market, position the product, reach the target, and use marketing mix after SWOT and 5 forces competitions analysis.

Management courses are the most important  to me.  Although I have no management experience before, I fully realized how to manage quality and project in different industries from Operations Management.  Now I am highly interested in Seminar in Policy( Strategy Management).   I enjoy the way this course is conducted and presented to us.  My expectation is that I can be a visionary, communicator and motivator to set up the corporate mission, develop business growth strategy and manage the strategy.

Culture is emphasized as an important feature in the management courses.  It helps me to work in a global environment in the future. There are many discussions about company culture, organizational structure, leadership, negotiation, conflict, and human resource practices in Culture and Business Practices, Organizational Behavior, and Human Resource Management.
